This project is dear to our hearts because, for many of these inmates, this is the only time in the year they are reminded that they are seen, loved, and valued.
In addition to this outreach, we are thrilled to announce the soft launch of a new long-term project: The Bits Champion Academy, a school behind bars initiative.
The Bits Championship is designed to prepare inmates for life after prison. With a curriculum focused on etiquette, emotional intelligence, mental health, communication, and basic life skills, we aim to equip prisoners with the tools they need to reintegrate into society with dignity and responsibility.
Our pilot sessions have already begun with support from professionals in mental health and behaviour change, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. However, we need help to scale and properly structure this vision.
This is more than charity. It’s nation-building. It’s giving those who have fallen a genuine shot at rising again.
A Deep look into Bits Champs
Launched in 2025, BITS Academy is a transformative initiative that takes place every Tuesday within the walls of the prison.
It is more than a program; it is a pathway to hope, purpose, and lasting change. Designed for inmates who show a genuine interest in personal development during our regular visits, BITS Academy offers a structured yet compassionate environment where growth is not only possible, but actively nurtured.
Each participant is carefully selected based on demonstrated willingness, positive attitude, and potential. Once enrolled, they are guided through a powerful curriculum rooted in three core areas:
Purpose Discovery & Identity Formation
Helping inmates understand who they are beyond their past. Through reflective exercises, mentorship, and discussion, they uncover their unique value, calling, and purpose in life.Bible-Based Leadership Development
Grounded in Scripture, this component equips participants with timeless leadership principles such as integrity, servant leadership, responsibility, and vision, preparing them to lead from wherever they are.Reintegration & Life Skills Training
We prepare inmates for life beyond prison by teaching essential life skills, from emotional intelligence and communication to conflict resolution and decision-making, so they can reintegrate into society with confidence and direction.
Our mission is clear: to support holistic transformation that empowers inmates to return to their communities not just rehabilitated, but renewed, spiritually strong, mentally equipped, and prepared and equipped with meaningful skills to make a meaningful impact.
The program is led by Mani Ojeah (AKA Pastor Mani) and a team of trained volunteers, all of whom are passionate and highly committed professionals from various fields. Their dedication ensures that every session is impactful, personalized, and filled with grace and excellence.
