About Us
BITS is an acronym for ‘Bringing In the Sheaves’ by Mani. It is a registered company and was founded in April of 2017 by Mani.
BITS by Mani is an Organization that seeks to help prison inmates in our society regain their spiritual consciousness and self worthiness, by influencing their lives with the gospel of Christ and developing their minds through strategic interventions. We believe that once a person learns his or her true purpose and calling in life, they are forever changed. The BITS Organisation brings hope and healing to a wounded world.
BITS is an initiative that seeks to work through different yet interrelated programs with a view to providing employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to the inmates.
Since inception, the BITS Foundation’s empowerment programs have provided food, clothing, toiletries/daily supplies, educational grants, pro-bono legal services, career skills training, business and entrepreneurial development training and equipping, vocational skills training, spiritual upliftment, counselling and mentoring, as well as post-training follow-up to released inmates, thus ensuring long term solutions to the challenges of crime, unemployment, lack of marketable skills and illiteracy.

Our Mission
Our mission is to rehabilitate and reintegrate prison inmates back to the society and equip them with life skills required to assume personal responsibility for their future.
The objective of this initiative is to build economic capacity among the inmates who have little or no skills.
Our Vision
Our vision is to bring about developmental change to inmates and ex inmates by reaching out to different correctional facilities through strategic interventions. We have developed innovative methods and solutions in tackling issues such as illiteracy, mental poverty, and soul and spirit development.

What We Do?
Since Inception, The BITS Foundation has...
Since inception, the BITS Foundation’s empowerment programs have provided food, clothing, toiletries/daily supplies, educational grants, pro-bono legal services, career skills training, business and entrepreneurial development training and equipping, vocational skills training, spiritual upliftment, counselling and mentoring, as well as post-training follow-up to released inmates, thus ensuring long term solutions to the challenges of crime, unemployment, lack of marketable skills and illiteracy. We also operate a book club within the four walls of the prison and an after prison release project.
It is our custom to organise an annual christmas party for the inmates, and at the moment, we are planning to organise a football tournament that will include both the Christians and the Muslims.

About The Founder?
Immanuella Ojeah...
Immanuella Ojeah, fondly known as Mani, is a dynamic lawyer who is currently the founder and Managing Partner of Manifield Solicitors, a Law firm based in Nigeria and which has branches in Lagos, Abuja and Benin City. Her practice focuses on complex and civil litigation, corporate and commercial practice, intellectual property, Telecommunications and real estate law.
Mani founded BITS in April of 2017 by Mani and her vision is to bring about developmental change to inmates and ex inmates by reaching out to different correctional facilities through strategic interventions. She has developed innovative methods and solutions in tackling issues such as illiteracy, mental poverty, and soul and spirit development.
She also undertakes this work in her role as Ava Ministry’s Chairman Board of Trustees and more particularly, as the Managing Partner in Manifield Solicitors. She also renders pro bono services to inmates in the prison who are without legal representation.
Through mission and ministry, she continues to bring purpose, empowerment and life-changing opportunities to numerous inmates and ex inmates.
